Who We Are
We are a full gospel Christian Church, we are not affiliated to any denomination but our Pastors are members of Evangelical Alliance. The church partnerships with 'Passion for Jesus' which is a Christian organisation that connects with churches worldwide. We are a registered charity. The charity is named Zion Christian fellowship number 1205542 operating as Lowton and Golborne Community Church
Our Pastors are Herbert and Marjorie Cooper. They have been Christians most of their lives having given their lives to Jesus in their early years. They started the church as a house group in Lowton an March 1st 1998 and they have been involved in the church to this day.
We purchased our present building in May 2020 and 'moved in' on Saturday 30th October 2022. We had our first meeting the following day. Since moving in we have done extensive restoration to the property whilst not losing any of the character of the original building
The pictures show the renovation of the chapel, the newly decorated weekly meeting room, the new kitchen, and the rear hall. We have fitted double glazing in the rear hall as well as installing central heating throughout the building. We have also fitted new toilets at the rear of the building.
